SATURDAY - June 23, 2007

The sun was out early today and we did not have to play through the usual morning overcast. Zack was out today due to an injury incurred playing STAG.

Patrick was the official photographer today and took many candid action shots of the players. The pictures can be seen at http://imageevent.com/zackc/tennisinthesun.

The teams set up by Zack were as follows:

Rudy and Sabrina
Larry and Louise
Richard and Steve

Louise was all smiles and her wiggle and twist celebration dance after she hits a winner was very much in evidence today as she and Larry won all 3 rounds. Rudy and Sabrina won in 2 of the 3 rounds. The results were as follows:

5HIT 6/16/07, a windy, clear day. We started with six players; luckily the North Group had two extra players so we got Bob F (again?) and Cyp to play allowing us to have four teams. The teams were (sets won in parenthesis):

Good RAT as usual. Tina's Mexican Pizza and Louise's egg rolls were the favorite. Rudy showed up for RAT wearing a Gilligan outfit.

5HIT 6/2/07, another perfect Saturday for tennis once the early morning overcast was driven away by blue skies and the warm sun. With nine players on the roster early in the week, Larry volunteered to join the North Group on Courts 2 and 4, so we ended up with eight players which was perfect for the 5HIT format. Bob F had defected to join the 5HIT group this time. The teams were (sets won in parenthesis):

Harry and Bob S (0)
