Twelve players participated this Saturday. We actually ran out of courts to play on. John's group had ten players, and Mike the pro was giving lessons on Court 7. We had to jury rig Court 8 by propping up a net to make it somewhat playable. It was not quite within specs when we finished.

Round 1:

Rickey and Tina 6, Bob S and Louise 1
Zack, Dwight, Harry and Sue were restoring Court 8.

We had a great time at RAT with a variety of food and drinks. Myles and Anna from the front desk came down to socialize for a little bit.

Dave D, the 2006 winner of the Giant Tomato Contest, relinquished the glass tomato trophy to this year's winner, Carmel.

Saturday - October 20, 2007

It was a cool morning and nine of us congregated around 9 AM. Steve, our tenth person, was a no show. Zack went home to complete his water color painting.

The remaining eight players were teamed as follows.

Rudy and Sabrina
Harry and Carmel
Rickie and Linda
Larry and Sue.

Only two rounds were played since Carmel and Rudy had to leave early.

Sue would refused to let any ball to get by her as she and Larry won in both rounds. The results were as follows.

The refreshments were varied as usual. there were banana nut bread, cookies, bean dip with chips, grapes, shrimp, wine, beer and soft drinks.

Louise and Harry were in top form today as they swept through all three rounds with easy wins. The results were as follows.

September is cooling down quickly this year. At least the sun was out after a while.

Rickey and Louise dominated today as they won in all three rounds. Zack and Sue were the runner ups as they won in two of the three rounds. The results were as follows.
