It was a nice mild winter day. Spring is around the corner (Tuesday of next week). Since there were such a large number of players that were unavailable The group went down to an old familiar foursome, Carmel, Carole, George and Larry, that had not played together since La Jolla in 2005.
The teams were Carmel/Larry versus Carole/George selected in accordance with the player ratings. Carmel/Larry won the first two rounds and Carole/George won the last round. The results were as follows:
ROUND ONE
Carmel/Larry over Carole/George (6-3)
ROUND TWO
Carmel/Larry over Carole/George (6-1)
ROUND THREE
Carole/George over Carmel/Larry (6-4)
For refreshments we had white cheddar cheese, gouda cheese, crackers, grapes, beer, juice and pepsi.
The player ratings that changed due to today's play are as follows:
George - 5.2
Larry - 3.5
Carmel - 5.3
Carole - 3.9
