The sky was clear and the sun was shining today. The temperature warmed up very nicely as the morning went along.
We had 10 people this morning again. Zack made out a schedule of rotating partners/opponents on each round that consisted of two doubles and one singles match. The results were as follows:
ROUND ONE
Justin/Bob S. over Larry/Ingrid (6-2)
Zack/Carole over Harry/Carmel (6-3)
Tina over Sabrina (6-1)
ROUND TWO
Ingrid/Carmel over Justin/Sabrina (6-5)
Bob S./Carole over Larry/Tina (6-3)
Zack over Harry (6-1)
ROUND THREE
Carmel/Tina over Carole/Sabrina (6-2)
Zack/Ingrid over Larry/Bob S. (6-3)
There was a big crowd on the deck for refreshments since John's group of 6 players were also having refreshments. As always the refreshments were varied and delicious. Tina had brought her advertised weight watcher special of mini fritatas made of eggs, potatos and cheese. Carmel and Ingrid provided mini tuna and egg salad sandwiches. There was plenty of beer and wine to accompany the food.
The ratings that changed due to today's play are as follows.
Larry - 3.2
Zack - 5
Carmel - 5.5
Harry - 3.7
Ingrid - 4.7
Carole - 4.1
Tina - 4.7
Bob S. - 3.2
Justin - 5.2
Sabrina - 3.5
